The first river-land joint ecological police office in Anhui section of the Yangtze River was established.

　　On February 11, the "Yangtze River Shipping Public Security Bureau Anqing Branch Anqing Police Station Anqing City Public Security Bureau Water Police Station Anqing Yangtze River Dolphin Provincial Nature Reserve Yingjiang Ecological Police Office" was officially inaugurated. Leaders in charge from the Yangtze River Shipping Public Security Bureau Anqing Branch, Anqing City Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, Anqing City Public Security Bureau Yingjiang Branch, along with grassroots law enforcement personnel from public security and fishery administration, attended the unveiling ceremony.

　　The Yingjiang Ecological Police Office innovatively adopts a joint inauguration form by river and land public security agencies. It is established next to the Anqing Fishery Administration Law Enforcement Workstation co-built and co-managed by the ministry and province. This is a concrete practice of deepening the integrated policing pattern of the Yangtze River and thoroughly implementing the strategic deployment of "jointly promoting great protection, not engaging in large-scale development." It marks a new stage of deep integration between police law enforcement and ecological protection for the conservation of the Yangtze River's aquatic resources and the Yangtze River dolphin.

　　The police office adopts a joint duty work model of "public security leading, departmental coordination, and social participation." It integrates the law enforcement forces of member units such as agriculture and rural affairs, ecological environment, maritime affairs, and water conservancy in the co-construction area of public safety on the Yangtze River Anqing Yingjiang section, as well as social forces like the "Wanjiang Ecological Volunteer Police." This forms a new pattern of ecological policing with joint management and control, effectively promoting the transformation of river-land collaboration from "phased linkage" to "normalized co-governance." It provides strong support for strengthening the supervision of the Yangtze River dolphin nature reserve and combating illegal fishing and destruction of aquatic resources.
