State Grid Power Space Technology-Power Grid Space Big Data Achievements Represented International Leading Level
Recently, the reporter learned from State Grid Electric Power Space Technology Co., Ltd. that the "Key Technologies and Applications of Spatial Big Data Governance and Intelligent Services for Safe Grid Operation" completed by the company's data center team has passed the achievement appraisal organized by the China Electricity Council. The appraisal committee unanimously recognized that the overall achievement has reached the international leading level.
Currently, the construction of new power systems is continuously advancing, and the low-altitude economy is booming. Low-altitude operations such as helicopters and drones have become important supports for core grid businesses like transmission line inspections, project acceptance, and disaster surveys. However, challenges in the standardized management, governance analysis, and scheduling decision-making of massive multi-source heterogeneous spatial data have always constrained the improvement of grid safety operation efficiency.
To overcome these challenges, State Grid Electric Power Space Technology Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Harbin Institute of Technology, Beidou Fuxi Information Technology Co., Ltd., and other units, has successfully broken through several core technologies after five years of joint technical research. These include a heterogeneous cloud distributed elastic storage strategy based on multi-dimensional features, grid spatiotemporal coding based on geospatial segmentation, a "spatiotemporal-semantic" dual-layer associative index algorithm for high-precision grid spatiotemporal data, and a risk warning model integrating random forest and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.
Relying on these core technologies, this project has achieved intelligent generation and parallel evaluation of dynamic scheduling schemes for space and sky resources. The project's achievements in 3D tile loading efficiency, poor data detection recall rate, and intelligent warning accuracy of aerial inspection operations have all reached the international leading ranks, strongly promoting the grid's safe operation into a new "data-model" dual-driven development model.
It is understood that the project's achievements have been fully applied to the regular operation and maintenance of large-scale ultra and extra-high voltage transmission lines and emergency disaster response work. This not only builds a solid technical barrier for the daily safe and stable operation of the grid but also played a key supporting role in emergency rescue and disaster relief actions such as the 2025 Miyun flood and the Shigatse earthquake in Tibet, providing a solid technical guarantee for power emergency rescue and ensuring people's livelihood electricity use.
